I took my family there last Sunday: This is a Six Flags park that has a lot of charm and a decent collection of coasters, however the operations and service there is severely lacking. That is my overall impression of the park, but I'll go into further details, Things the park does RIGHT: The park has a good variety of rides for the family and a great collection of roller coasters, that are much better than some of the Brand's other parks. The Scorcher and Mind Riddler were my favorite steel rides and the entire family loved the Scream Machine. Wait times on the rides were all great, with us able to board many of the coasters with little to no wait at all. Plus, the Monster Mansion dark ride was incredibly well designed with Amazing original theming and was something I wouldn't have expected from a Six Flags branded park. One aspect of the park that I appreciated was that the classic rides like the carousel and air balloon ride were set up on a hill in the woods, which make it seem especially charming. What the park does ALL WRONG: The majority of employees here do not seem to care at all about customer service, especially the ones working in food service. It took us almost an hour to order and get our food and that's with only one couple in front of us in front of us in line. Rather than take our order four employees stood around talking behind the counter with complete disregard for the families waiting in line to place an order. After waiting nearly 15 minutes for the employees to take the customer ahead of your orders, the employees again went back to talking making me wait at least 10 minutes before allowing me to order. They then informed me that I couldn't pay in cash, so I had to leave the cafeteria to load money on a card. I had no choice but to return to this same in park restaurant, because my wife wasn't feeling well. They seemed to have no regard for the fact that my diabetic wife desperately needed to eat something, because when I returned to find two families ahead us, I again had to wait in line as they stood around talking for 10-15 minutes between each order, taking only on order at a time, despite being adequately staffed and having multiple registers. I saw something similar on the Joker fun house ride, a group of employees talking for long periods of time while the riders were waiting, rather than doing their job to ensure that the ride protocols were followed. This resulted in long delays between dispatches. The general attitude of park employees across the park seemed to be that personal conversations were more important than the customer experience. Many of the employees seemed to be going through the motion at a pace that showed a general lack of enthusiasm. My final complaints deal more with customer service and operations. First, the park did not honor it's advertised prices, we called to see if they would and they told us that the price advertised is subject to change. We were told that the higher priced ticket includes both the water park and the amusement park, when in fact the water park wasn't open at all (as it is seasonal). This didn't effect our experience, because we weren't planning on going to the water park anyway but it is still pretty scummy to advertise one price and not honor it online, over the phone, or even in person. Lastly, several of the major rides were not working at all or as advertised . Rides that were closed included the water ride Thunder River, the major drop ride, and the new children's coaster Kids Flash (which was something my son wanted to ride). One ride that was open Justice League: Battle for Metropolis was not as described. It is advertised as a 4D ride, but the park does not provide the 3D glasses to make it work as intended. So, you go through the ride looking at blurry 2D screens (it is obvious the screens were designed to viewed with 3D glasses), ruining what would otherwise be an incredible ride. I requested a pair, but the ride operator told me 3D glasses were not necessary (the instructions provided by monitors in the queue say otherwise).

Six Flags is a wonderful place to spend your day during summer vacation! We came on a nice Monday and spent about five hours there, which was a perfect amount of time to ride all of the attractions. We barely had to wait in any of the rides throughout the day as well. There is so much to explore and see, and the rides are so much fun! It’s definitely worth spending a day here!

The rides are pretty good. That's about all the positives I have for this park. It was a very hot day, 97+, while waiting in lines for rides very few, like 1 out of every 10 had any shade to stand under. So after standing in line for 8 minutes I was drenched in sweat. Most rides had a wait time of about 20 minutes. Some were as much as 60 minutes of waiting. There are also no fans to cool people. They could at a minimum have some fans. Any of the rides that had shade, like in a building Justice League or Batman (underground culvert pipes), the ac did not work, and there was no air flow at all. I almost passed out waiting for Batman, luckily it was only a 25 minute wait in that sauna. Justice League did break down while we were on it. Took them 20 minutes to fix it. After waiting 50 minutes in the non air-conditioned queue line for the ride, then it breaking on us while riding. The employees didn't offer anything to let us ride again without waiting. They didn't say anything at all. Just showed us the exit, and the ride entrance was closed with trash cans. After living in Florida and regularly visiting the parks in Orlando. Six Flags is very lacking. The ride queue lines are horrible, no fans or no/minimal shade, no/barely any theming, and the way they do the lightning pass needs work. The employees don't seem to like their jobs. According to the parking payment person, the place was packed, like their busiest day ever. But, after experiencing Universal Studios in Orlando, this place wasn't packed. The employees here wasted a lot of time loading rides. They could have unloaded/ loaded a lot faster on most rides. There was no/barely any instruction from crew members to separate into the various lines to get on the coasters, leaving many seats not occupied. Which could have been fixed with a single rider line/lightning pass people. It wasn't all a waste of time. We rode most of the rides by 5:30pm, they open at 10am. The Twisted Cyclone was probably the best roller coaster there. Which we almost skipped due to the heat.

Six Flags Over Georgia was a huge staple in my childhood and I had fond memories of this place. I'm happy to say you guys haven't lost it. I recently visited on my Birthday (I haven't been to the park since the Pandemic.) and I honestly had the time of my life! Loved the mix of New rides and classic ones (Thanks for keeping Monster Mansion and Scream Machine.) and new ones. (Love the Twisted Cyclone.) The park is still beautiful and well kept and the lines weren't bad either! Glad I decided to come back!

As a first time visitor it wasn’t bad. I would definitely return and spend the day with the family or even just as a couple. The roller coasters were cool, as well as the food and drinks. We purchased the fast pass and dinner package which was worth it. I highly recommend the dinning package. With the cost of food and drinks for 20.99 it was more than reasonable for a group of 5 per person. It came with a meal, snack and drink and had we no issue redeeming them when the time came. As for the fast pass, early in the day I felt we didn’t need it. As time went on it became something more worth while. We went on a Wednesday so that could have been it also, during the weekends I’m sure the worth would be there 1000 fold. I want to commend one individual who stood out. The attendant Yaz working the Dare Devil (dive coaster) was extremely nice, attentive, professional and understanding. She went above and beyond with 30 seconds being the time my interaction was with her, her performance stood out enough for me to add her to this review. I would 100% feel safe and comfortable knowing she was in control of letting the ride go or not.
