I decided to try this new salon on Friday 9/6 as I was in the area and saw some fairly good reviews. I went in and they were fast to sit me down for my pedicure and full set. I was treated by Julia (pedicure) and Nancy (full set). They were doing a good job and made friendly small talk but I noticed that my whole right hand was not filed prior to adding the nail extensions. I did not think to much of it at this point but overall satisfied when they finished up and paid with $10 tip each. Well by Tuesday 9/10 I had two nails just randomly fall off! I called to ask about their policy and was told they have a 7 day guarantee so I went in for my lunch break to fix this. Especial since I just paid SO much money to have this done and four days later they fall off!? They sat me quickly and that’s when everything started. I was asked who did my nails and after a little mix up it was determined it was Nancy who did my nails. I had FOUR people crowd around me to look at my nails (in my opinion to determine if this was my or their fault) and they grabbed my hands to look at my nails over and over. After that debacle Nancy started and prepped my nails correctly this time to replace. She said she had to wait a minute for the acrylic to harden to continue, understandable, she comes back we made small talk and she starts to tell me about her crypto stocks and shows me one of her phones and how they are going up and down. Cool, I’m not into that but that’s awesome for her and I am always down to learn something new. She gets her other phone and opens up an app Telegram Where she opens up her last message. Behold it’s a picture of ME sitting in the chair most likely taken when she walked away for that minute and it’s being shared in their chats. So this made me feel as if they wanted to flag me as a problem or scamming customer! When asked about it, she all of a sudden couldn’t explain herself and I immediately asked she delete it. She finished and I left. I will never go back here. Good luck to the ones that do.

10/10 experience. We just moved up here from south GA, so I was skeptical about going to a new nail place. My sister in law recommended Phoenix as she goes here, and it was fantastic. I got wine, the pedicure was relaxing, and Nim did my acrylics. She took her time shaping which I really appreciated how meticulous she was. They came out perfect and absolutely beautiful.

In my 40 plus years of living I have never had a bad experience at a nail salon up until I visited this place! They lack empathy and professional nail technicians! I arrived for my appointment I scheduled two weeks prior to be told that my nail technician left early. They asked if I could have someone else do my nails; hesitant, I agreed. The technician “Vicky” proceeded to look at my nails. I usually like having medium length nails, but my nails had grown a bit longer. She asked if I wanted them cut down. I told her yes. We agreed on the length (medium length) and she proceeded working on my nails. Typically, I do not watch the technician, but I noticed that she had started filing the first nail down further than the agreed length. When I informed her of my concern- I told her to continue, but since she had filed my nail down so short, I just told her to continue sine the damage had already been done! She proceeded, not only filing every nail down, she literally filed them unevenly down to the skin underneath my nails!! She then tells me the price and I was floored! When I expressed to her that she had ruined my nails by shaving them down to freaking “kiddie-nails”! She took $3.00 off! I am not the type to cause a scene, but this lady almost forced me to step outside my element and curse her out! I thought about the damage to my nails the entire time she was shaving my nails and after she was finished. I paid, but not before informing the manager of my dissatisfaction. I went home, vented and this morning, I woke up and decided to write a review. The fact that the owner saw my nails when I arrived and seeing how they looked afterwards and knowing that I was not happy. He did nothing to compensate me (other than the $3.00 off) and that was due to a broken nail repair. He did nothing to take responsibility for what that lady did to my nails, but offer an apology! I feel that showed a lack of empathy towards his customers! I will NEVER go to this nail salon in my life!!!!

First time experience horrible!! I was rushed through my pedicure and full set, no massage chair, and what I wanted I did not receive and settled for poor service. What was my do something special for myself, was ruined by poor service. Top photo - what I wanted. Bottom Photo - what I received. Comprehension was poor! Taking the time to understand was neglected - I felt like a number instead of feeling welcomed as a first time customer.

UPDATE Ugh! It saddens me to write this but I have to. My second visit to Phoenix nail spa was the worst customer service experienced I've had in a while. I was very excited to change the color on my toes and get a gel manicure. Things were off from the very start. The person doing the polish change on my toes seemed extremely inexperienced buzzed my toes several times. It took FOREVER to remove the polish & he was struggling to paint my toenails to the point where my manicure (which included a soak removal) was done & this man had paint on my feet! I asked to have the person that did my mani to finish the polish change! The manicure was OK at first, but within in 2 days has peeled off of my nails. When I reached out to the salon to ask about their seven day policy - if anything goes wrong with your mani/pedi, they will fix it within seven days at no cost - I was first told the Internet was down & to call back. After being placed on hold, I was told "unfortunately, the time [to come in to have it repaied] has already expired" I got my nails done on 4/11/24 & I called on 4/18/24. When I asked the woman to read to me what the signage on the front desk said regarding their policy she refused to read it. She put me on hold (again), came back and said that I could come in to have my nails redone, (great!) but I would have to have it fixed by the same person who botched them. I told her that was unacceptable. After spending upwards of $80 for a polish change and manicure, I did not want to work with the guy who was shaking with the rotary file! If this was your experience, would you go back to the same person?? No ma'am! My nails not only look a hot mess, they are BEYOND damaged. If awful customer service is your thing Phoenix nail spa is right for you! *********** Wonderful experience! I’ve been living in Douglasville for almost 3 years, and have struggled to find a nail salon that was affordable, made me feel welcomed, was very clean and free of gossip. Phoenix nail salon checked all the boxes! Vickey and Ryan were amazing! This was my first time getting SNS so I had a lot of questions. Vicky was kind & patient and answered all of my questions. Ryan was as gentle as can be with my tiny toes ☺️ It’s been six months since my last mani/pedi and I feel like a new woman! Thank you so much for your hospitality, listening & to what I asked you to do❤️ I will be back.
